We Are a Marketplace
FOLA introduces patients to practices, practices to locums, families to home and nursing care, travellers to Care Travel partners, and practices to medical suppliers. FOLA is not a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, laboratory, insurer or healthcare professional, and nothing on FOLA is medical advice.
The Professionals Decide
The practice, practitioner or provider you choose is responsible for diagnosis, treatment, advice, consent to care and clinical records. Take every clinical question to them.
Emergencies
Do not use FOLA in an emergency. Call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency facility.
Listings and Marks
Listings are written by the people listed. A mark says only what it names: Genuine post means the sender confirmed their email, and Verified by FOLA means a person at FOLA checked the register and evidence on a stated date. A mark is never a rating of clinical skill or a promise of results. Sample listings on this build are marked Sample listing and are not real practices or suppliers.
How FOLA Is Paid
Practices pay a flat listing fee of USD 28 a year. FOLA never charges or pays anything per patient referral. Suppliers pay a listing fee and a commission on orders won through FOLA, because supply is trade between businesses. Paying never changes any mark, and Sponsored placements are always labelled Sponsored. Patients pay FOLA nothing.
No Pharmacies
Prescription medicines, dispensing and pharmacies are outside FOLA.
Fees Between You and Providers
Fees shown on listings are indicative and set by the provider. The provider confirms the final fee with you, and you pay them directly. FOLA holds no treatment money and no order payments.
